While growing up in Minnesota, our owner and operator Ryan spent his summers working with his grandpa on the farm. While working on the farm, he observed the hard work and dedication his Grandpa put in every day. Learning if you want something you have to work for it. Upon graduating from high school, Ryan enlisted in the Navy. From this, he gained his lifelong dedication to perfection and attention to detail. He always enjoyed good BBQ of any kind and always had an interest in the art of BBQ. But in 2014 he purchased a smoker as a gift, and from there his love and dedication to BBQ truly emerged. Over the course of the next few years he read as many books and watched as many videos as possible from some of the biggest BBQ icons in the country. From this his knowledge and understanding of BBQ continued to grow.
